Adam Sandler gives one of his best performances in Uncut Gems. He plays Howard Ratner, a New York City gems dealer who gets his hands on a rare, highly expensive black opal from Ethiopia. His business dealings are dangerous and ruthless to say the least given his high-end clientele. The black opal could be his bargaining chip in hopes of making lots of money now that famed basketball player Kevin Garnett wants his hands on it.
