My award season coverage continues as this morning the nominations were announced for the Critics’ Choice Awards. This is my first year voting as a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, and I’m excited to be a part of this organization. Mad Max: Fury Road, one of my favorites of 2015, leads the pack with 13 nominations. Todd Haynes’ new film Carol along with The Martian and The Revenant came in with nine nominations a piece.
