PHANTOM THREAD Writer/Director: Paul Thomas Anderson Starring: Daniel Day-Lewis, Lesley Manville, Vicky Krieps, Harriet Sansom Harris When Daniel Day-Lewis announced he was planning on retiring, there was public outcry knowing that we would never see another performance from out of the greatest actors of our time. If that were indeed the case, than Day-Lewis’ turn as Reynolds Woodcock is an excellent performance to go out on. 2017: A YEAR IN REVIEW It has certainly been an interesting year at the movies with many unpredictable turns at the box office. Studios may finally be getting the hint that audiences want diverse movies with women and minorities in lead roles. WE WANT THESE STORIES!
