FIVE FEET APART
Directors: Justin Baldoni
Featuring: Haley Lu Richardson, Cole Sprouse, Moises Arias, Claire Forlani, Kimberly Hebert Gregory
In seems like every year we get a teen romance that tugs at the heartstrings as they fight all odds to stay together. Stella (Richardson) has lived with Cystic Fibrosis since childhood and is going through an extended stay at the local hospital as she receives treatments. She’s documenting her journey through her YouTube channel while trying to living a normal life with her friends. She’s intrigued by Will (Sprouse), another patient her age at the hospital. He’s going through a new experimental treatment but is a bit lackadaisical with taking his meds at the required times. Patients with CF are required to stay six feet apart from each other to prevent cross-infection. As two opposites attract, they fall in love and risk the dangers of wanting that close embrace.
