Arriving just in time for Christmas is the good-natured, inspirational film American Underdog about football great Kurt Warner. Zachary Levi leaves behind his Shazam suit for a football uniform as Warner. The Iowa-native knew he wanted to be a football legend after watching Joe Montana in the Super Bowl. He’s the kind of guy who doesn’t take “No” for an answer whether its sports or trying to win over Anna Paquin’s Brenda in a bar. She’s a single mom of two offering another hurdle for Kurt in pursuing his dreams. It’s a rocky road for Kurt, Brenda, and his journey to the Super Bowl.
