It’s been a busy year for Jennifer Lopez with her new tour, documentary, album and short film called This is Me…Now. On top of that she’s starring in the new Netflix film Atlas. Jennifer Lopez not only stars in Atlas, but it is also one of the film’s producers and creative forces behind the scenes. It’s a story set in the future where A.I. has become more advanced than humans can keep up with it. She plays Atlas Shepard, a counter terrorism analyst who is renowned in her field. A.I robots have bypassed all their security protocols and have killed over a million civilians. Simu Liu plays Harlan, the master A.I. robot who has launched himself into space presenting an unpredictable terror over the planet. Atlas has spent years trying to track his location and believes she’s finally found him. She wants to be on the mission to go find him and stop him, but getting in her way is Sterling K. Brown as Colonel Elias Banks who doubts Atlas’ current state of mind and ability to do her job. Now on Netflix
