BUMBLEBEE
Director: Travis Knight
Starring: Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Pamela Adlon, Stephen Schneider, Len Cariou
Charlie (Steinfeld) is turning 18 but still struggling with her father’s death. She works for a hot dog stand but spends her spare time fixing out junker cars. She finds a Volkswagon Beetle in a junkyard and takes it upon herself to fix it up as a birthday present. This Beetle just so happens to be the transformer Bumblebee who’s been sent to earth by Optimus Prime to find shelter from the Decepticons. Travis Knight (Kubo and the Two Strings) directs the sixth and best installment in the Transformers franchise.
