NO ONE WILL SAVE YOU

Writer/Director: Brian Duffield
Starring: Kaitlyn Dever, Geraldine Singer, Dane Rhodes, Lauren L. Murray

Kaitlyn Dever is proving herself to be one of the strongest actors of her generation after Booksmart and Dopesick. Leading the new horror film No One Will Save You further cements herself as a captivating actress capable of any challenge thrown at her. The film comes from writer/director Brian Duffield who opens it with an aerial shot of a lonely farmhouse in the middle of the woods. There’s a long road leading up to it, but you know no one is around and that something horrific will happen here. Kaitlyn Dever plays Brynn, a young dressmaker who lives there alone as her mother died a few years prior. She lives a pretty isolated life, which gets explored as the film goes on. One day before heading into town she sees a circle of dry grass in the yard, but doesn’t think much of it. Later that night she’s awoken by loud noises outside, flickering lights, the record player and TV all turning on. It’s a home invasion with an alien making its way inside her house. Now streaming on Hulu
