PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS

Writer/director Dan Trachtenberg wowed audiences with his new take on the Predator franchise with Prey. He continues to take the franchise to new heights with the animated film Predator: Killer of Killers. Before you balk at an animated Predator movie, know that Dan Trachtenberg keeps this an adult oriented animated film filled with the brutal kills you would expect from a live action Predator story. He tells this through three different narratives starting in 841 AD with Ursa, a Viking warrior avenging her father’s death. She warns her son, Anders, to avenge her death if something happens to her. As the battle heats up, Ursa and her army come face to face with the predator who seemingly arrives out of nowhere. The second story picks up twenty years later with two feuding Japanese brothers and warriors who also come face to face with the predator. The third story jumps ahead to Florida 1941 with a young pilot drafted for the war. What he couldn’t have expected is the battle he faces in the air with something bigger, stronger, and more dangerous than he could have expected. Streaming on Hulu
