‘SALEM’S LOT

Director: Gary Dauberman
Starring: Lewis Pullman, Bill Camp, Alfre Woodard, John Benjamin Hickey, Jordan Preston Carter, Nicholas Crovetti, Spencer Treat Clark, Pilou Asbæk, Alexander Ward

Salem’s Lot is one of Stephen King’s earliest published books. Writer/director Gary Dauberman (IT) tackles the latest adaptation and introduces the audience to the small Maine town of Jerusalem’s Lot, which is also referred to as ‘Salem’s Lot and The Lot. Lewis Pullman plays famous writer Ben Mears who comes back to his hometown of ‘Salem’s Lot to work on his new book. He’s hoping to find closure here after the childhood trauma of losing his parents in a car accident. ‘Salem’s Lot is also home to the mysterious Marsten House that comes with its own urban legends and terrors. It’s sat vacant for years until Straker and Barlow, the strange owners of a new antique shop, buy it. Shortly after Ben comes back home, a young boy goes missing in the woods. A new string of murders occurs and local teacher Matthew Burke (Camp) believes it to be the work of vampires. Now streaming on Max
