THERE’S SOMEONE INSIDE YOUR HOUSE
Director: Patrick Brice
Starring: Sydney Park, Théodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, Dale Whibley, Jesse LaTourette, Burkely Duffield
Netflix has a great new slasher flick on their hands with There’s Someone Inside Your House. The title alone should send a chill down your spine. The film is based on the novel by Stephanie Perkins and kicks off with the brutal murder of Jackson, a high school jock home alone in his farmhouse out in the quiet open fields. His parents and everyone else are back at the school watching the coveted football game. Before his untimely death, he was taunted with compromising photos of himself revealing that someone knows of his dark past. Word travels fast around the halls of the high school and fingers start pointing at potential suspects. For Makani Young (Syndey Park) she wonders if it’s only a matter of time before her secret past is revealed. As the body count rises, it’s clear that this killer who wears a mask resembling his victim’s faces likes to expose the dirty secrets of the senior class.
