The seedy, mysterious, and cutthroat art world of Los Angeles isn’t quite prepared for the arrival of Vetril Dease. The catch is that Dease was an elusive artist no one ever heard of until his body is found dead in his apartment by Josephina (Zawe) who happens to work at an art gallery. Dease’s paintings catch the eye of gallery owner Rhodora (Russo) and art critic Morph Vandewalt (Gyllenhaal). When Dease’s works start popping up, a supernatural force takes over with deadly consequences.
