Calling all Star Trek fans! Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing Star Trek: Lower Decks – The Complete Series on Blu-Ray and DVD on March 25. The five season animated comedy series was a huge hit with fans and ran from 2020-2024 on Paramount+. If you don’t subscribe or are in between your subscriptions, but love Star Trek, now is the perfect time to pick up this release!
Star Trek: Lower Decks is a fun animated comedy series with half hour episodes that features “cool scrappy underdogs” aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos. Jack Quaid, Tawny Newsome, Noël Wells, Eugene Cordero, and Jerry O’Connell all lend their voices and join the Star Trek universe. These characters have hyper energy, are fast talking, and get themselves into a whole mess of trouble. It’s a very funny show that still feels loyal to Star Trek fans while reaching a younger generation. If you’ve seen Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, you may remember that Jack Quaid and Tawyn Newsome made a guest appearance in the second season as live action versiosn of their animated characters. It was a fun and inventive cross-over episode!
Star Trek: Lower Decks – The Complete Series is a MASSIVE ten-disc set. The SteelBook edition is gorgeous with two SteelBooks containing all ten discs. It comes with a collectable art card with the cast’s signatures on it, audio commentaries, and special “Lower Dectionaries” behind the scenes videos.
