MOBLAND and The Taylor Sheridan Universe
Guy Ritchie has created memorable action stories in both film and television. I highly recommend his latest series, MobLand which is now back for a second season on Paramount+. If you don’t have the streaming service, you can now pick up the first season on DVD thanks to Paramount Home Entertainment and Alliance Home Entertainment.
Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren lead the Harrigan Family, a crime family in London who are ruthless and diabolical and are fierce rivals with the Stevenson Family. Their rivalry intensifies after an incident involving the sons of both families. The Harrigans put their family fixer (Tom Hardy) through the ringer in order to protect them.
Guy Ritchie brings his usual flair for action to MobLand with explosive results. The first season is a fantastic binge. There’s a heightened soap opera like quality to this family and the hijinks they will get into in order to retain control of their communities. It’s great to see Mirren play a character like Maeve Harrigan. Tom Hardy is also fantastic, as you would never want to cross Tom Hardy if you want to live.

TULSA KING Season 3
If you love mob stories, check out Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi in Taylor Sheridan’s Tulsa King. The third season is now out on Blu-Ray and it’s been a big hit for Paramount+. The series also stars Martin Starr, Annabella Sciorra, Frank Grillo, and Kevin Pollack.
LANDMAN Season 2
Taylor Sheridan takes on the oil industry in the heart of Texas with Landman. It’s another fan-favorite series on Paramount+ with Billy Bob Thornton leading a starry ensemble with Demi Moore, Sam Elliott, Michelle Randolph, and Ali Larter.
