TAXI DRIVER

I’ve been having a grand time with my movie series at Emagine Theaters. Next up for Paul McGuire Grimes Presents is…TAXI DRIVER, the 1976 masterpiece from Martin Scorsese.

Taxi Driver was made early on in Scorsese’s filmography and was his second collaboration with Robert De Niro after Mean Streets. They’ve become one of the great actor/director partnerships in cinema history. De Niro’s character, Travis Bickle, is a force to be reckoned with and one whose presence has continually been spoofed, imitated, and cherished since its release.

Join me for a special screening of Taxi Driver, Sunday August 27 at 3:00 at the Emagine Theaters Eagan. As always, I’ll do a talk back after the screening.
