Bill Murray and Naomi Watts are a dream together. They star in the page to screen adaptation of Sigrid Nunez’s novel, The Friend. I sat down with Murray, Watts and writers and directors Scott McGehee and David Siegel to talk about the movie, Naomi Watts going out of her way to get Bill Murray to sign on for the film, adapting the book, Bill Murray reminiscing about Gilda Radner, and much more. As you know, I am a massive Saturday Night Live fan, so this was a real treat to hear Murray talk about playing off Radner as Lisa and Todd, The Nerds.
