THE STANLEY KUBRICK EXPERIENCE

Stanley Kubrick is undeniably one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. His movies are not fluffy pieces of entertainment. His eye behind the camera leaves you with imagery that creates an unforgettable cinematic experience. They may be odd, puzzling, and unclear at times but with every movie you are left with pictures ingrained in your head. I will never forget seeing movies like A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, or even Eyes Wide Shut for the first time. Kubrick never takes the easy way out for his audience. The Heights Theater is presenting five of his best works throughout September and October. If you’ve never had the Kubrick experience, head over there to get them in the full 35mm presentation. 2001: A Space Odyssey will be shown in 70mm, so you really have no excuses.
