BIG MISTAKES
Creators: Dan Levy, Rachel Sennott
Starring: Dan Levy, Taylor Ortega, Laurie Metcalf, Abby Quinn, Jack Innanen, Jacob Gutierrez, Boran Kuzum
Dan Levy was the genius star and creator of Schitt’s Creek. He’s back with another new series. Big Mistakes is about a loving, but dysfunctional family with Dan Levy’s character, Nicky, desperately trying to keep it together. He’s a pastor who is forced to keep his sexuality quiet, especially in front of his congregation. He has a reputation to keep up, and that is tested in every episode in the wake of his grandmother’s death. He and his sister, Morgan (Taylor Ortega), bury their grandma with a beautiful necklace Morgan stole from a shop. It seems like no big deal until local mobsters come after them seeking the necklace. Nicky and Morgan find themselves in way over their heads doing odd favors to keep in favor in the world of organized crime. Laurie Metcalf also stars in the series as their overbearing and high-strung mother, Linda, who is launching a political campaign and running for mayor. Now streaming on Netflix.
