Fans have been waiting what feels like three long years since we last left off with Will, Eleven, and the rest of the characters from Strangers Things. New episodes are finally here as Season 4 Volume 1 starts streaming on Netflix May 27. A lot has changed in the six months since the epic battle at the Starcourt Mall. Eleven, Will, and the rest of the Byers family have moved away from Hawkins, Indiana and have settled down in California. High school is rough for El, as she’s frequently picked on by the popular kids. They don’t know about her special powers, and Will seeks to keep an eye out for his best friend. El is looking forward to Spring Break when she can be reunited with Mike who is back in Hawkins with Dustin and Lucas. Their peaceful days in Hawkins are turned upside down all over again when the dead body of a high school girl is found mangled from limb to limb. Something sinister and more terrifying than the Mind Flayer is out to destroy the citizens of Hawkins.
