It stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Sophie who is returning to life after a failed suicide attempt. We see her drowning and no memory for the life she once had. She’s left to put the pieces back together from what her husband, James, and best friend, Carolina, are telling her. Her panic attacks are debilitating and her quest for the truth turns a few turns when an investigator named Thomas tell her not to trust her husband. As her memories start to resurface, she can’t make sense of the marriage she once had, if she can trust her husband, and what led to her suicide attempt.
