THE PUNISHER: ONE LAST KILL

Director: Reinaldo Marcus Green
Starring: Jon Bernthal, Judith Light, Deborah Ann Woll, Kelli Barrett, Jason R. Moore

Jon Bernthal has left a lasting impression in the Marvel Universe as The Punisher. He’s been a fan-favorite character and is back for more in The Punisher: One Last Kill. We first saw Jon Bernthal’s take on Frank Castle, a vigilante who goes by The Punisher, as a Netflix series through Marvel. It lasted two seasons, but he has since popped up on Daredevil: Born Again and will appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Bernthal is the type of actor who’s so good and reliable that he always leaves you wanting more from his characters. The Punisher: One Last Kill is being billed as a Special Presentation by Marvel for Disney+. It’s a 48 minute extended episode that acts as a coda for this character. The episode features Frank going through a big mental breakdown. Much like we’ve seen in Daredevil: Born Again, crime and chaos is way up in the city. It takes place in the neighborhood of Little Sicily with street crime and muggings running rampant. Meanwhile, Frank is having visions and hearing the voices of his former brothers in the Marines along with his deceased family members. The local news is running headlines of the Gnucci Crime Family being slaughtered with Frank’s name being tossed around as the number one suspect. Now on Disney+
