It’s always a treat to share my recent interviews on Twin Cities Live on KSTP. I recently sat down with Marisa Abela and director Sam-Taylor Johnson to talk about bringing Amy Winehouse to the big screen in Back to Black. Here what they had to say about trying to use her music and lyrics as a way in to telling her story. I also shared another part of my interview with Chaz Ebert for her new book “It’s Time to Give a FECK: Elevating Humanity Through Forgiveness, Empathy, Compassion and Kindness” Chaz talks about the impact her late husband, Roger Ebert, had on finding empathy through the movies.
