RADIOACTIVE Director: Marjane SatrapiStarring: Rosamund Pike, Sam Riley, Anya Taylor-Joy, Simon Russell Beale, Sian Brooke Rosamund Pike has been a Bond girl, was an Oscar nominee for Gone Girl and now tackles noted scientist Marie Curie in Radioactive. Marie Curie moved from Poland to Paris to study chemistry. It’s the late 1800s and the science field is clearly a man’s world. Pierre Curie, played by Sam Riley, takes notice of her and together their work eventually leads to marriage, the Nobel Prize, and would forever change the world. It’s now streaming on Amazon Prime. GLASS Director: M. Night ShyamalanStarring: James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Sarah Paulson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Spencer Treat Clark M. Night Shyamalan fans were teased when they saw Bruce Willis’ Unbreakable character, David Dunn, pop up at the end of his last movie Split.
