DEATH ON THE NILE
Director: Kenneth Branagh
Starring: Kenneth Branagh, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Russell Brand, Letitia Wright, Sophie Okonedo, Emma Mackey
Kenneth Branagh introduced a new audience to the iconic Agatha Christie when he directed and starred in Murder On the Orient Express. He’s back as Detective Poirot for Death On the Nile. Poirot escapes to Egypt for a little vacation but finds himself in the midst of celebrating newlyweds Simon Doyle (Hammer) and his beautiful bride Linette Ridgeway (Gadot) and all their guests. While they’re all aboard a riverboat cruise, Linette is found dead in her bedroom leading Poirot back to work as he tries to solve her murder. Could it be Simon’s ex-girlfriend who snuck her way onto the boat? Could it be Simon? Or is it one of the many other friends who are supposedly there to celebrate the bride and groom?
