JURASSIC WORLD REBIRTH

It’s been 32 years since Jurassic Park, and the franchise’s seventh entry Jurassic World Rebirth hopes to recapture the spirit and terror of that film. In the thirty-two years since dinosaurs returned, a lot has changed in the world as dinos freely roam the earth and climate change has progressively gotton worse. Rebirth continues in this same timeline, and we’ve learned that a majority of the remaining dinosaurs are living in this belt around the equator. Public interest in dinosaurs has waned since then as Doctor Henry Loomis explains how the museum doesn’t get the foot traffic it once did. He’s played by Jonathan Bailey. Dr. Loomis is approached by Rupert Friend’s character, Martin Krebs, who is a billionaire pharmaceutical rep. The goal is to find three specific dinosaurs and extract their blood in order to create a cure for heart disease. Travel to the equator has essentially been forbidden given the dangers of dinosaurs running free. Dr. Loomis agrees to partake in this illegal mission and is joined by Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) who is a covert ops specialist who knows how to sneak into uncharted and illegal areas. Mahershala Ali is also a part of the mission as his character, Duncan Kincaid, works hand in hand with Zora and owns the boat they use. In theaters
