EPiC ELVIS PRESLEY IN CONCERT
You know Baz Luhrmann as the Oscar-nominated director behind visionary films like Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge! and The Great Gatsby. He recently directed Elvis with Austin Butler in 2022, and now he’s unleashing a new Elvis Presley documentary that’s been restored and brings Elvis back to the big screen as if you’re right there in the front row enjoying his concert.
I sat down with him to talk about EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert where he talked about the differences he found in doing a documentary into Elvis versus making a narrative feature, what he’s still learning about Elvis and more.
