The Netflix series Beef with Steven Yeun and Ali Wong was a massive hit winning every award in the Limited Series categories during award season. Now creator Lee Sung Jin is back with a new story and new characters for its second season. Oscar Isaac stars as Josh, the general manager of an incredibly posh country club. He and his wife, Lindsey (Mulligan), are facing a rough patch in their marriage due to financial hardships, low sex drive, and demands at work. Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny star as Austin and Ashley who both work at the club and witness a domestic dispute between Josh and Lindsey. They record the argument on their phone which would be incredibly bad optics for Josh if the video were to leak. Ashley and Austin use it to their advantage as potential blackmail against the wealthy couple. Oscar winner Youn Yuh-jung also stars as The Chairwoman who is the new owner of the country club.
