Five years have passed since the events of the first movie. Finn is getting older and his sister, Bianca, has now started playing with her Duplos set with doesn’t sit well with the Legos. Finn has turned his Lego community into the post-apocalyptic Apocalypseburg. Lego construction worker Emmett (Pratt) still believes everything is awesome, but his friend Lucy (Banks) is off brooding and stands guard waiting for aliens to attack. That very thing happens when Bianca’s Duplos attack. Captain Mayhem (Beatriz) invades Apocalypseburg and kidnaps Lucy, Batman, and a few other friends so that Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi (Haddish) can marry Batman. Emmett has to summon up the courage to save his friends.
