Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding attempt to bring some Christmas cheer to theaters with Last Christmas. Clarke follows up her run on HBO’s Game of Thrones in a drastically different fashion. She stars as Kate who is down on her luck at Christmastime. She’s a budding actress who works at a Christmas shop in London. Her life is a big old mess until she meets Tom outside her store. He’s played by Henry Golding from Crazy Rich Asians. He’s good looking, embraces life with a positive outlook, and may just be the guardian angel she needs at Christmas. It also stars Emma Thompson as Kate’s mother and Michelle Yeoh as the shop owner she works for.
