It’s 1977 in Wiggley, Georgia and a young girl named Christmas Flint, played by McKenna Grace, gathers together a group of outcast kids and forms a troop of Birdie Scouts. The rag tag team hopes to win their spot on the NASA’s golden record and have their voices sent into outer space. It also stars Viola Davis as their troop mother, Jim Gaffigan as Christmas’ dad, and Allison Janney as a competing troop leader.
