SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS

Director: David F. Sandberg
Starring: Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, Rachel Zegler, Meagan Good, Djimon Hounsou, Ross Butler, D.J. Catrona, Jovan Armand

The entrance of Shazam marked for a playful entry in the DC Extended Universe. Its star Zachary Levi is back for more in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The character of Billy Batson is played by two actors, Asher Angel who inhabits the teenage version and Levi once the character morphs into the Super Hero, Shazam. As we saw at the end of the first film, Billy and his friends have all accepted their new powers as Super Heroes and are now keeping their identities under wraps. That gets a bit more complicated when Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu show up as the daughters of Atlas, Hespera and Kalypso. They wreak havoc at a museum reclaiming their staff of power. By day, Billy and his friends are trying to live the teen life at school which means a meet cute for Billy’s friend Freddy (Grazer) and a transfer girl new to school played by Rachel Zegler.
