Benedict Cumberbatch has turned in memorable performances from Doctor Strange to Sherlock Holmes. Benedict Cumberbatch makes his character, Phil Burbank, someone who is not be messed with as he carries himself with a forceful bull-like presence. It’s Montana 1925 in a quaint little town. His brother, George, starts spending more time with local kitchen owner, Rose. As George and Rose fall in love, Phil finds his self-worth and power over other people start to dwindle. The ultimate guard he has over himself start to fall potentially exposing his vulnerabilities. The film also stars Kodi Smit-Phee as Rose’s son, Peter, who has his own run-ins with Phil.
