The brand new poster and trailer for SCREAM VI is here. So far we’ve seen the teaser trailer and two posters but we’re now getting a deeper dive into what it means to have a new Ghostface stalking our victims in the streets of New York. This Ghostface claims to be something different – a brutal, gun-wilding force who has a shrine to all the past Ghostfaces and their victims. I am digging this shrine concept and curious to see what it looks like. The return of Hayden Panettierre as Kirby Reed also marks the first time we’ve seen characters from the three different “generations” of victims coming together to take down Ghostface. Kirby had spunk and attitude and could compliment Mindy’s character well. Speaking of generations, OG Courteney Cox is also back, and we’re getting a glimpse at Gale receiving a Ghostface call for the first time. Her showdown scene looks epic!

Scream VI looks tonally different than most of the others in the franchise. It has that large city feel of Scream 3, but the anonymity of anyone in New York City wearing a Ghostface costume around Halloween feels extra creepy. The new poster feels a big crowded, but I do love the subway station map of the second poster that has little easter eggs plotting out the victims in the franchise.
