Movie Review: GODZILLA VS. KONG

GODZILLA VS. KONG Director: Adam WingardStarring: Alexander Skarsgård, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Bryan Tyree Henry, Julian Dennison, Demián Bichir, Kaylee Hottle, Kyle Chandler The new MonsterVerse kicked off with a reboot of Godzilla in 2014 and has since been teasing the epic showdown of these iconic monsters. That battle is finally here with Godzilla vs Kong. Kong is kept restrained in a large containment center on Skull Island under the care of Rebecca Hall’s Ilene Andrews. Movie Review: THE LEGEND OF TARZAN

THE LEGEND OF TARZAN Director: David Yates Starring: Alexander Skarsgård, Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson, Djimon Hounsou, Jim Broadbent, Christoph Waltz I like to throw Tarzan into the same category as say The Mummy and Hercules as age old figures that continually seem to have new adaptations coming to the big screen. We’ve seen Tarzan in animated form thanks to Disney and in live action movies and television shows. Frankly, I’ve never been all that drawn to the character originally created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, but here we are with another version to hit the big screen. True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgård takes on the titleRead More →

The Giver – My Review

THE GIVERDirector: Phillip NoyceStarring: Brenton Thwaites, Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Alexander Skarsgard, Katie Holmes, Odeya Rush, Cameron Monaghan, Taylor Swift There’s a great scene toward the end of The Giver where Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges get to have a bit of a verbal sparring match.
