TV Review: WeCRASHED

WeCRASHED Creators: Lee Eisenberg, Drew CrevelloStarring: Jared Leto, Anne Hathaway, America Ferrera, O-T Fagbenle, Kyle Marvin If you haven’t listened to the Wondery podcast of the same name, the new AppleTV+ series WeCrashed takes audiences inside the explosive and creative mind of entrepreneur Adam Neumann who founded WeWork. Jared Leto plays the Israeli-born serial entrepreneur who was no stranger to starting crazy business ideas. Not many of them went anywhere but he gained attention for his charisma and forceful attitude. He was told, “You’ll either be a billionaire or be arrested” His concept for WeWork was office space real estate adhering to young businesspeople likeRead More →

Movie Review: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 Writer/Director: Dean DeBlois Starring: Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Djimon Hounsou, Kit Harington Dreamworks Animation has made some fantastic animated franchises like Madagascar, Shrek, and Kung Fu Panda. Frankly, I wouldn’t mind seeing a sequel to Chicken Run. They have another successful one under their belt with How to Train Your Dragon 2. In the Viking land Berk, the Vikings and dragons are friendly and peaceful. For many of the characters, their dragons are their best friends. Our favorite Viking Hiccup (Baruchel) has grown up a bit sinceRead More →

Movie Rewind: END OF WATCH (2012)

END OF WATCH (2012) Writer/Director: David Ayer Starring: Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Peña, Anna Kendrick, America Ferrera, Cody Horn South Central Los Angeles seems to be as rough as you can get. It takes a certain type of police officer that would want to assign themselves to that area. Knowing that you are putting your life on the line with every phone call into 911 is heroic to say the least. Every day they are faced with guns and rifles pointing back at them with every house call they respond to. Brian Taylor (Gyllenhaal) and Mike Zavala (Peña) are partners in the LAPD. They have aRead More →
