Movie Review: THE COURIER

THE COURIER Director: Dominic CookeStarring: Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel Brosnahan, Merab Ninidze, Jessie Buckley The Courier is inspired by the true events surrounding Greville Wynne, played here by Benedict Cumberbatch. The plan is for him to work alongside Oleg Penkovsky known as Ironbark to infiltrate the Russian nuclear program. A simple manRead More →

JUDY Director: Rupert GooldStarring: Renée Zellweger, Rufus Sewell, Finn Wittrock, Jessie Buckley, Michael Gambon We may remember Judy Garland (Zellweger) as the talented young star of The Wizard of Oz but her life and career spiraled into a life of drugs and alcohol. She was only 47 and was going broke unable to pay for housing for two of her children. She’s forced to take on a concert series at the Talk of the Town in London. She needs the money, yet the years of substance abuse and self-doubt have taken their toll on her mental state as we see her work her way throughRead More →
