THE FEAR STREET TRILOGY
Director Leigh Janiak has taken a love of R.L. Stine’s book series from the 1990s and turned it in a satisfying new trilogy for Netflix. Janiak’s vision was part creative new take on a trilogy, part homage to the horror genre all while telling a queer love story at the heart of it. Unlike most trilogy, this went in reverse order in telling the story of Sarah Fier and the curse that’s been haunting Shadyside for years. Here are my reviews of all three parts.
