TOY STORY 5

I don’t think Pixar could have imagined that their groundbreaking film Toy Story would ever grow into a franchise lasting over thirty years, but now Toy Story 5 hits theaters and proves the everlasting love and timeless qualities of these characters. Joan Cusack is back voicing Jessie the Cowgirl and she, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang are holding down the fort at Bonnie’s house. Tim Allen is back as Buzz and voices an army of Buzz toys that are left abandoned and looking to find their way back to Star Command. Bonnie loves playing with all her favorite toys but has a hard time making friends. Her parents decide to get her a Lilypad tablet that could help her socialize more with the kids in her class. Greta Lee voice Lily and she becomes enemy #1 for all the other toys in Bonnie’s room who are not used to gadgets and devices. Lily soon connects Bonnie with other girls in her dance class. That sounds promising but Bonnie becomes addicted to using Lily and ignores her other toys to look cool and grown up for her friends. Bonnie gets teased by the other girls for having dolls and toys, and Jessie takes matters into her own hands. In your typically Toy Story adventure, Jessie ends up back and her old home and believes Blaze, the new young girl who lives there may be the friend Bonnie really needs. Tom Hanks is back again as Woody who lends a helping hand in Jessie’s mission. In theaters
