VOYAGERS

Writer/Director: Neil Burger
Starring: Tye Sheridan, Fionn Whitehead, Lily-Rose Depp, Colin Farrell, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Quintessa Swindell

Imagine living your whole life on a space station knowing your grandchildren will inhabit a new planet. That’s the premise behind the new film Voyagers. The year is 2063 and scientists have found a new planet to support human life after Earth becomes inhabitable. There’s no going back for the astronauts on board. The mission is to raise children and their future grandchildren in confinement to educate and train them to be scientists. There’s a group of twenty-somethings on board under the leadership of Richard, played by Colin Farrell. Christopher and Zac, played by Tye Sheridan and Fionn Whitehead, begin to suspect Richard has been lying to everyone on board. Their suspicion grows leading to chaos, anarchy, and disorder aboard the spaceship.
