PAUL’S TOP 10 MOVIES OF 2022

PAUL’S TOP 10 MOVIES OF 2022 It’s been another big year at the movies. I saw some terrific movies this year, both in the theater and sitting at home with the plethora of streaming services out there. There’s a little something for everyone whether you wanted large action films, horror films, legacy sequels, animation, and more. 2022 also marked my first in person press junket since 2020 with Dwayne Johnson’s DC film Black Adam. Did I mention that I became a dad?!?! That was the very best thing that happened in 2022. As you can imagine, my moviegoing was not nearly as robust as itRead More →

Movie Review: THE BATMAN

THE BATMAN Director: Matt ReevesStarring: Robert Pattinson, Paul Dano, Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, Peter Sarsgaard, John Turturro, Max Carver, Charlie Carver, Barry Keoghan Within the last fifteen years, we’ve seen Christian Bale and Ben Affleck down the cape and cowl as the Caped Crusader. During last year’s event, we got the first teaser of director Matt Reeves (The Planet of the Apes trilogy) take on Batman. Robert Pattinson steps into the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, as Reeves take a noir approach to telling Batman’s early days. He’s drawing inspiration from the graphic novel Batman: Year One We’re now getting the first full trailer and it looks fantastic. MattRead More →

DC FANDOME

DC FANDOME DC FanDome was held Saturday, August 22 and was a smorgasbord of goodness for DC Comics fans. It was an immersive 24 hour event giving fans an inside look at their various movies, TV series, and games in development. I wanted to look at a few of their highly anticipated movies and provide a few of the trailers, teases, and images that made the event a huge success. THE BATMAN As you can probably imagine, this was my most highly anticipated panel and teaser. There’s no such thing as Batman overload in my opinion despite another take on this story. What we knowRead More →
