Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast and the new adaptation of West Side Story from Steven Spielberg led the nominations with eleven apiece. The Power of the Dog and Dune both received ten nominations. As a voting member of the Critics Choice Association, it’s always fun to see which of my nominations pulled through on nomination day. I’m bummed that one of my Best Song picks didn’t make the cut, but there are plenty of strong nominations this year.
