It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that streaming movies like Mank, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm performed really well with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. That being said, I am surprised that Netflix’s Da 5 Bloods from Spike Lee was shut out. Stunning performances from Delroy Lindo and Chadwick Boseman went ignored despite nominations and love from critics groups. Tune in February 28th with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to see who will be awarded a Golden Globe! Jane Fonda will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
