Oscar and Emmy winner Laura Dern is most known for heavy dramas, David Lynch films, and of course, Jurassic Park. Now she’s easing into an international love affair with Lonely Planet. Dern plays Katherine, a prolific author who has landed in Morocco for a writer’s retreat. Her personal life is a bit of a mess and now her luggage has also been misplaced along the way. Other attendees at this retreat are Lucy Kemp (Silvers) and her boyfriend, Owen (Hemsworth). Lucy is a first time author whose beach read has become a big hit. Owen works in finance and is tied to his phone throughout the retreat. Katherine and Owen keep bumping into each other and seem to commiserate over the shambles of their life. Katherine is an open ear for Owen who realizes that the realities of his relationship with Lucy are coming to light on this retreat. Streaming on Netflix
