MILL CREEK ENTERTAINMENT WITH RETRO VHS

Is VHS making a comeback? Yes and no. I don’t know if I’ve seen NEW VCR back in circulation yet, but I have noticed trends with collectors buying VHS at thrift stores and local markets to build up their physical media library. Yes, I’m guilty as charged.

Mill Creek Entertainment is an independent, boutique distributor of DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital movie releases. They’ve partnered with Alliance Home Entertainment on a series of Retro VHS looking titles. These are all Blu-Ray releases of some older ’80s and ’90s gems but they are made to look like their old VHS packaging from back in the day of scanning the aisles at Blockbuster or Mr. Movies.
