Eddie Murphy was the proud recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Kristen Bell won the #SeeHer Award. It’s been a blast to see this new iteration of Murphy’s career with Dolemite is My Name, a new episode of Saturday Night Live with the sequel Coming 2 America coming later this year.
Bell wrapped up a successful run of The Good Place on NBC, voices Anna in the high-grossing animated film of all time, Frozen II, returned to her cult-classic Veronica Mars, and hosts the reality show Encore! for Disney+, and does incredible charity work.
Renee Zellweger, Joaquin Phoenix, Laura Dern, and Brad Pitt all won acting awards tonight matching their Golden Globes wins. If they go on to win the SAG Award, you better believe these are the four Oscar winners. The same goes for Sam Mendes (who tied with Bong Joon Ho), Quentin Tarantino, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Parasite, and Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood for Best Picture.
