ONCE UPON A TIME IN…HOLLYWOOD

Director: Quentin Tarantino
Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Tim Roth, Bruce Dern, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Kurt Russell

The first teaser for the “9th Film From Quentin Tarantino” is here. Just from the look of Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood, you can see that Tarantino infuses his distinct style all over it. He’s had a long love of cinema, so it will be fun to see him explore 1969 Hollywood in the age of Bruce Lee, Sharon Tate, and the Manson Murders. This film marks a variety of reunions with Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Tim Roth, Bruce Dern, and Kurt Russell who have all experienced the QT way of filmmaking. DiCaprio also starred with Margot Robbie in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street.  The film is a true tease as it gets us Taratino fans excited for what will be a crazy ride into madness like so many of his films, and yet, it really doesn’t give anything away.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore.   The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.”
