UNCUT GEMS Director: Josh and Benny SafdieStarring: Adam Sandler, Idina Menzel, Julia Fox, LaKeith Stanfield, Kevin Garnett, Judd Hirsch, Eric Bogosian Adam Sandler gives one of his best performances in Uncut Gems. He plays Howard Ratner, a New York City gems dealer who gets his hands on a rare, highly expensive black opal from Ethiopia. His business dealings are dangerous and ruthless to say the least given his high-end clientele.
