Eddie Murphy is back in prime form in the true story, Dolemite Is My Name. He plays Rudy Ray Moore who does it all. He sings, dances, performs stand up comedy, and works at a record story all while searching for his big break into showbiz after being rejected countless times. He hears stories and jokes from homeless people in his community and turns them into a character named Dolemite. His off-color, vulgar language gets some acclaim leading Rudy Ray to make a movie out of his new persona. It’s now streaming on Netflix.
