EASTER SUNDAY

Director: Jay Chandrasekhar
Starring: Jo Koy, Brandon Wardell, Tia Carrere, Eva Noblezada, Lydia Gaston, Jimmy O. Yang, Tiffany Haddish Eugene Cordero

Jo Koy is best known for his stand-up comedy act and his many appearances on the late night talk show, Chelsea Lately. Now he’s front and center for the family comedy Easter Sunday. This hits close to home for Jo Koy who plays Joe Valencia, a stand up comedian best known for a catch phrase in a beer commercial. He needs work but his auditions result in him doing stereotypical Asian accents. Meanwhile back at home, his son Junior (Wardell) is on academic probation and needs his dad to be present more often. Joe is struggling with that life/work/family balance with his phone ringing off the hook with his agent and his mom all demanding something out of Joe. This should be a relaxing Easter Sunday with family and food, but holidays are never that easy.
