We’ve seen the Predator franchise through many phases from battling Arnold Schwarzenegger to Danny Glover to Adrian Brody, there were 2 Alien vs Predator movies, a reboot from Shane Black, and now a prequel of sorts called Prey. It’s quite different from the others. Prey is set in September 1719 in the Great Plains, our heroine Naru (Midthunder) tells us, “They said a long time ago a monster came here.” Naru is a young Comanche girl, staunchly independent and tough, never one to back down when the men in her tribe tell her to stay home. She sees a disturbance in the sky believing it’s a sign that it’s her time to prove herself by hunting the wildest animals. When dead carcasses start popping up, she knows something is out there as no beast could leave this type of carnage. Now on Hulu
